"Rabbit Haven" - Cherished Moments
Lynda B made this adorable quilt for her first granddaughter - isn't it the sweetest quilt you've ever seen? The name of this beauty is Rabbit Haven by Cherished Moments and Lynda did all the embroidery by hand. I am sure Lynda's granddaughter will cherish this beauty forever!
I am still very slow with my quilting but really feel the need to persevere and continue on with my passion. Thank you to all my customers for being so very understanding.
Full custom on this beauty using Hobbs 80/20 batting and white polyester threads.

Don't Fence Me In - pieced by Linda L
This unique quilt was beautifully pieced by Linda. I did find it a bit of a challenge deciding how to quilt it but all in all was happy with the outcome. More important Linda was happy!

"Modern Building Blocks" - pieced by Lisa
Lisa impeccably pieced this very modern quilt called "Modern Building Blocks" using a solid fabric line from Moda. Lisa surprised me when she said she wanted just a very traditional allover quilting pattern on this very modern quilt. We both were very happy with how it turned out - Yeh!

Christmas Present Quilt - Pieced by Doris
Doris did a great job piecing this lovely Christmas Quilt. I have the layer cake to make this quilt and hopefully can get at it one of these days. Simple but such an effective way to showcase a number of lovely Christmas fabrics.

Sunday Morning Quilts by Cheryl Arkison
This lovely quilt was pieced by Susan and comes from a book written by a local Calgary artist - Cheryl Arkison. Cheryl wrote a book called "Sunday Morning Quilts" and this was Susan's choice from the book.

A fairly dense allover swirl design was what Susan wanted as the quilting on this beauty.

Back in the studio!
Hi to all my wonderful friends and family! Thank you for all your support and well wishes, they definitely are greatly appreciated. I am in the studio for small intervals and it feels so good.
This lovely quilt was brought in by Mimi which she made for her son. I find quilts for men harder than any others to quilt but I do like how this one turned out. Full custom quilting with ruler work - Hobbs 80/20 batting and Wonderfil rayon thread - top and bottom.

More Gorgeous Wool Applique - this one by Leslie C
Beautiful wool applique wall quilt made by Leslie C. Most of these beauties are coming out of a unique little quilt shop here in SW Calgary "Out of Hand". Leslie called this one "Forget Me Nots" - but I did not get the designer's name. If someone recognizes this and knows the designer please let me know as I do like to give recognition to the wonderful designs.
Some of these pieces are classes, some are blocks of the month and some are just gorgeous pieces put together by some of our local artists. I am in awe and feel so privileged to be able to put a bit of myself into them.
Full custom quilting using templates and rulers. Wool batting was used to acquire a nice definition.
