Kiddy Kat Quilts by Doreen

These adorable Kiddy Kat quilts are actually all separate small quilts. They were all quilted together and will be cut apart and bound separately.  Doreen is using them as kitty quilts or as her friend mentioned they can also be used as kiddy quilt - aren't they precious.

The quilting is freehand double swirls using scrumptious variegated thread - Mirage by Wonderfil which really shows up well on the black backing.

Koi Fish Wall Quilt by Sheila F

Sheila F made this lovely panel wall quilt as a special gift for her granddaughter. She mentioned her granddaughter loves the koi fish and I'm positive she will be so very pleased with grandma's gift.

The quilting is full hand guided custom quilting using a gold polyester thread by Wonderfil. The design on the black is called orange peel and is done by marking out a grid.  There is a large amount of stitching in the ditch mainly in the center around the water fall, fish etc.
