This is another joint effort with my dear friend Max.
I received a request from a lovely young fellow who not only is a junior high school teacher (that in itself is so commendable) but he is also an avid runner. Mark asked if I could compile his many t-shirts into a memorable quilt that would commemorate all the races and events he's been a participant in to date.
As usual because of time restraints I called my buddy Max and asked if she was up to piecing another quilt top. Without hesitation Max came through with flying colors. In record time Max had the top pieced and returned to me. I put it on the quilting frame, sewed on the binding and presented it to a very happy Mark the other day.
Because we had to work with so many logos I decided to fit a number of them onto the back of the quilt as well as the front - the last two photos show how this turned out.
