More Gorgeous Wool Applique - this one by Leslie C

Beautiful wool applique wall quilt made by Leslie C.  Most of these beauties are coming out of a unique little quilt shop here in SW Calgary "Out of Hand".  Leslie called this one "Forget Me Nots" - but I did not get the designer's name. If someone recognizes this and knows the designer please let me know as I do like to give recognition to the wonderful designs.

Some of these pieces are classes, some are blocks of the month and some are just gorgeous pieces put together by some of our local artists.  I am in awe and feel so privileged to be able to put a bit of myself into them.

Full custom quilting using templates and rulers. Wool batting was used to acquire a nice definition.

Fun Wedding Quilt Julie made for a friend

Julie makes a number of quilts for friends and their family - how awesome is that and oh soooo generous!  This beauty she made for a friends wedding.  Love the pattern, color choices, fabrics, etc. etc.  Wonderful work Julie!

Freehand edge to edge - funky floral design.  Mirage variegated thread by Wonderfil and Hobbs 80/20 batting.

Sweetheart Ilusions Quilt by Jacquie

This quilt is so adorable and I love Jacquie's choice of fabrics and the Illusions pattern from Missouri Start Quilt Company is perfect.

Freehand edge to edge quilting using a soft grey 100% cotton thread - Konfetti by Wonderfil. Jacquie also used a soft grey minki like fabric for the backing.
