Fingers Crossed

I just received my vintage quilt and it looks pretty good for $15US. I will launder it this weekend and start checking for any repairs that need to be done, (I did notice a few minor ones). I won't be able to get to the quilting right away as I just completed a customer quilt and another one is on the way, a large queen size one. Pretty happy with my purchase so far.

Granddaughter Mackenzi Wins Gold

Granddaughter Mackenzi - 7 years old is in a dance group. They have been in competitions for a while now and I just heard they won a gold metal - how wonderful for her and all her dancing friends.

Update on Lynn

Had a lovely surprise Friday - Lynn dropped in and had dinner with us, almost like old times. How wonderful!

Comfort Quilt for Lynn

I'm so sad because my dear friend Lynn is back in the hospital.

This is a comfort quilt I made for her when I was feeling so very helpless and at a loss of what I could do to help with her battle against cancer. There are high heels and purses on the fabric and those that know Lynn will appreciate how appropriate the fabric was.

I'm not sure what the Good Lord has in store for Lynn but I sure hope she gets well real soon.
