This lovely quilt made by Barb for her husband definitely has a masculine feel to it. She called the pattern "William Morris Windows". We decided on a freehand leaf meander with swirls thrown in which seemed to suit this quilt perfectly. The batting was Warm & Natural and thread was a variegated blend - Mirage by Wonderfil.
Love the quilt design - the squares seem to be floating above the quilt.
ReplyDeleteThis freehand pattern is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThat is really nice, Nancy! Very masculine - which I find isn't easy to do.
