Liberty of London Fabrics pieced by Julie

Julie found these wonderful fabrics by Liberty of London and if I understood correctly was her inspiration to make this beautiful soft floral quilt.  I'm not sure exactly how many different fabrics she used, but a fair number, and each and everyone was absolutely wonderful.  The pattern is perfect to showcase these fabrics and Julie as usual did an awesome job.

Freehand soft floral quilting design, 100% cotton variegated thread by Wonderfil and Hobbs 80/20 batting.

Sweet Sweet Baby Panel Quilts

Donna has a great eye for picking up these adorable baby quilt panels.  She includes her own spin on them and the finished quilts are absolutely adorable.  Aren't they the sweetest!

The quilting design is a favorite of many of my customers - freehand bubbles.  The thread is Wonderfil's beautiful 35w - 100% cotton variegated "Silco".  This thread is awesome on children's quilts as the colors are very very vibrant.

Mary's Modern Chevron Quilt

Love all the interesting modern quilts that people are bringing in these days. Mary brought this one along with a few more traditional ones. She knew she wanted circles and I also like the idea of soft quilting complimenting the linear lines of the chevron design.

I must admit, choosing a quilting design for these so called modern quilts is a bit of a challenge for me at times -  I'll definitely have to work on that.  I have been on line but it seems that a large number of the people quilting these, really really like very dense quilting.
